While the earth is healing

A poem

I am alone in this room

They told me to hide away.

Crying in my bathroom,

Lost my sanity, no way!

We blame this year,

For all the chaos that happened.

People are in fear,

People are frightened.

Some being hospitalized,

Some lost their jobs,

Some try to coping with grief,

Some try so hard to keep their sanity.

Put your mask on,

Keep the distance,

Wash, wash, wash your hand,

Stay, they said.

No crowd, no gathering.

No school rush in the morning.

No party, no handshaking.

Just talked to a dead thing.

People are screaming,

While the earth is healing.

Casting spells for this ends.

Then realize, it’s just time to rest.
